Questions
How fast does Roundhouse pay a trade?
Seven days from close out, by e-transfer or EFT. Close out means the approved work is done, the completion photos and your invoice are in, and a current WSIB clearance and insurance certificate are on file.
Does Roundhouse take a percentage of my invoice?
No. Nothing is deducted from your invoice and there is no fee to be paid on time. The rate you quoted is the rate you are paid.
Do I have to bid against other trades for each job?
No. There is no auction. You quote your rate, we confirm it before the job, and that rate is what you invoice.
Do I need a licence?
Where your trade needs one in Ontario or Toronto, yes. Every trade also needs a current WSIB clearance where the law requires coverage, and liability insurance. Painting, cleaning and landscaping need no trade licence, and roofers need working at heights training.
What if the scope changes on site?
Stop, send photos, what you found and a price. The change goes to the approver, and you carry on once it is added to the job. Work done without approval cannot go on the invoice.
Does applying guarantee me work?
No. We match trades to the work and areas we have. Applying starts the conversation about fit and paperwork.
