# Maintenance work for trades, paid in seven days

You quote, we confirm your rate before the job, and you are paid seven days after close out with nothing taken off your invoice.

Roundhouse is building its own trades for residential building maintenance across Ontario. Applying does not guarantee volume, so the terms come first.

## You are paid in seven days, at your rate

- **Seven days.** From close out to payment, by e-transfer or EFT.
- **Nothing deducted.** The rate you quoted is the rate you are paid. Roundhouse sets its price to the client separately.
- **No fee to be paid on time.** No factoring, no early pay charge, no platform fee.
- **No auction.** You quote, we confirm it before the job, and that is what you invoice.

## The job arrives ready to run

- **One customer.** Roundhouse books the job and pays you. The tenant never pays you and never changes the scope on site.
- **Access arranged.** The tenant is told, the window is agreed and keys are on the job before you drive.
- **Scope locked.** The scope, the price and the photos are on the job. A change on site is approved first, then added.

## Three things we check before your first job

- **Your licence.** The one your trade requires in Ontario or Toronto, where it requires one.
- **WSIB clearance.** Current, and checked before booking and before every payment.
- **Liability insurance.** The certificate is on file.

We only use ECRA/ESA-Licensed Electrical Contractors. [Requirements by trade](https://roundhousegroup.ca/trades/requirements/)

## From application to first job

1. **Apply.** Tell us your trade, the area you cover and how you price.
2. **Talk fit.** We go through the work we have in your area and your rate basis.
3. **Send papers.** Your licence, WSIB clearance and insurance certificate.
4. **First job.** It arrives with the scope, photos and access window agreed.

> Applying does not guarantee volume. It starts the conversation.

## Questions

### How fast does Roundhouse pay a trade?

Seven days from close out, by e-transfer or EFT. Close out means the approved work is done, the completion photos and your invoice are in, and a current WSIB clearance and insurance certificate are on file.

### Does Roundhouse take a percentage of my invoice?

No. Nothing is deducted from your invoice and there is no fee to be paid on time. The rate you quoted is the rate you are paid.

### Do I have to bid against other trades for each job?

No. There is no auction. You quote your rate, we confirm it before the job, and that rate is what you invoice.

### Do I need a licence?

Where your trade needs one in Ontario or Toronto, yes. Every trade also needs a current WSIB clearance where the law requires coverage, and liability insurance. Painting, cleaning and landscaping need no trade licence, and roofers need working at heights training.

### What if the scope changes on site?

Stop, send photos, what you found and a price. The change goes to the approver, and you carry on once it is added to the job. Work done without approval cannot go on the invoice.

### Does applying guarantee me work?

No. We match trades to the work and areas we have. Applying starts the conversation about fit and paperwork.
