# Paid seven days from close out, at your rate

One invoice per job, by e-transfer or EFT. No percentage off the top, no fee to be paid on time, and no waiting on a batch.

There is no early pay program because there is nothing to speed up, and no percentage taken off the top.

## Seven days starts when the job closes out

1. **Work done.** The approved work is finished.
2. **Photos in.** Before and after, and the part that came out where there was one.
3. **Invoice in.** It matches the approved scope.
4. **Papers on file.** A current WSIB clearance and your insurance certificate.

A job missing one of the four is still open, and the clock has not started.

## One invoice, one customer, nothing deducted

- **One invoice per job.** Addressed to Roundhouse, with the job number, the address and unit, what was done and the agreed price.
- **Your HST number.** Show it if you charge HST.
- **Changes on their own line.** If the scope changed on site, the approved change is a separate line.
- **Nothing deducted.** No platform fee and no factoring charge. Roundhouse earns on its price to the client, not on your invoice.

## What holds a payment

Only the four close out items: an unfinished job, missing photos, an invoice that does not match the approved scope, or a lapsed WSIB clearance or insurance certificate. Once the missing item is in, the job closes and the seven days start.

## How the common payment models compare

| Model | When you are paid | What comes off |
|---|---|---|
| Batch pay | 30 days or more after a batch invoice | Nothing, unless you pay to be paid sooner |
| Percentage model | When the job closes | A fixed percentage of every payout |
| Reverse auction | On the platform's pay cycle | Your rate, bid down against the next trade |
| Roundhouse | Seven days from close out | Nothing |

> Your invoice is not where Roundhouse is funded. The rate you quote is the rate you are paid.

## Questions

### Who do I invoice for a Roundhouse job?

Roundhouse. Never the tenant and never the property manager. One invoice per job, with the job number on it.

### What happens if my WSIB clearance expires?

The payment waits until a current clearance is on file. A clearance lasts up to 90 days, so send the new one when it is issued and the next payment is not held.

### Am I paid for extra work I find on site?

Yes, once it is approved and added to the job's scope. Send photos and a price before you start it. Work done without approval is not on the approved scope, so it cannot go on the invoice.

### Is there a fee to be paid in seven days?

No. Seven days is the standard term, not an upgrade, and nothing is deducted from your invoice.

### Do I bid for the job or negotiate the invoice?

No. You quote your rate, we confirm it before the job, and you invoice that rate against the approved scope.

We only use ECRA/ESA-Licensed Electrical Contractors.
