# Electrical work in Toronto rentals, paid in seven days

Roundhouse is adding electrical contractors to its own trades for Toronto residential rentals. You quote, we confirm, the tenant knows you are coming, and you are paid seven days after close out at your rate.

## Electrical jobs you can quote

- **Small repairs.** Outlets, switches, light fixtures, exhaust fans and breakers in occupied rental units.
- **ESA included.** Any ESA notification of work and inspection the job needs is part of the scope, not an extra.
- **Every building type.** Semis, duplexes, walk ups and condos.

## Occupied units, handled before you arrive

- **Tenant told.** The access window is agreed before you drive.
- **Power back on.** You restore it before you leave, and the room is put back.
- **Scope locked.** Extra work is approved first, then added to the job.

We only use ECRA/ESA-Licensed Electrical Contractors.

## What we ask in return

- **Your licence.** Your ECRA/ESA licence number, checked before the first booking, and a 309A or 309C Certificate of Qualification, or apprentice registration, for each electrician on site.
- **WSIB clearance.** Where WSIB coverage applies to your work, a current clearance, checked before booking and before every payment.
- **Liability insurance.** The certificate is on file.
- **Close out photos.** Before and after, taken before you leave the unit.

## Pay terms

- 7 days from close out to payment. By e-transfer or EFT, no factoring, no early pay charge.
- 0% deducted from your invoice. The rate you quoted is the rate you are paid.
- 1 customer to deal with. Access arranged, scope locked, photos before you drive.

## Apply as a trade

## Questions

### Do I need to be licensed to do electrical work for Roundhouse?

Yes. In Ontario only electrical contractors licensed by ESA may do electrical work for hire. We ask for your ECRA/ESA licence number before the first booking.

### Is the ESA notification of work an extra?

It is part of the scope, not an extra. Any notification and inspection the job needs is priced into the job.

### How and when am I paid?

Seven days from close out, by e-transfer or EFT, at the rate you quoted. There is no charge for being paid on time.

### Does the tenant ever pay me?

No. Roundhouse is your customer. You invoice Roundhouse, and the tenant never pays you or changes the job on site.
