# Appliance installation in Toronto rentals, paid in seven days

Roundhouse is adding appliance installers to its own trades for Toronto residential rentals. You quote, we confirm, the tenant knows you are coming, and you are paid seven days after close out at your rate.

## Appliance jobs you can quote

- **Fridges and ranges.** Delivery, placement and non-gas installation, with the old unit removed where agreed.
- **Dishwashers, washers and dryers.** Installed and connected, non-gas.
- **Every building type.** Semis, duplexes, walk ups and condos.

## Confirmed before you accept

- **Measurements and stairs.** Checked first, so the unit fits.
- **The elevator booking.** Made where the building needs it.
- **Water and power connections.** Confirmed on the job before you drive.
- **Occupied units.** The tenant told, the floor protected and the packaging gone when you leave.

## What we ask in return

- **Gas, only registered.** Gas ranges and gas dryers are connected only by a TSSA registered contractor. Flag one before you start unless your registration is on file.
- **WSIB clearance.** Where the law requires coverage. Roundhouse checks it before booking and before every payment.
- **Liability insurance.** The certificate is on file.
- **Close out photos.** Of the installed unit running, taken before you leave.

## Pay terms

- 7 days from close out to payment. By e-transfer or EFT, no factoring, no early pay charge.
- 0% deducted from your invoice. The rate you quoted is the rate you are paid.
- 1 customer to deal with. Access arranged, scope locked, photos before you drive.

## Apply as a trade

Apply through the form on the web page: [Apply to join Roundhouse's trades](https://roundhousegroup.ca/apply/). It asks for your trade, any licence or registration numbers, your WSIB status, your liability insurance, your area and how you price.

## Questions

### Can I connect gas ranges and gas dryers?

Only a TSSA registered contractor can. Flag a gas appliance before you start unless your registration is on file.

### Who confirms measurements and the elevator booking?

We confirm measurements, stairs, the elevator booking and the water and power connections before you accept the job.

### How and when am I paid?

Seven days from close out, by e-transfer or EFT, at the rate you quoted. There is no charge for being paid on time.

### Does the tenant ever pay me?

No. Roundhouse is your customer. You invoice Roundhouse, and the tenant never pays you or changes the job on site.

We only use ECRA/ESA-Licensed Electrical Contractors.
