# Appliance repairs and installs, model checked before anyone drives

Fridges, stoves, dishwashers, washers and dryers, repaired or replaced by our trades, with the old unit hauled away and the record on one invoice.

A fridge that stopped cooling, an oven that will not heat, a washer leaking onto the floor. Our trades repair it or replace it, and the old one leaves the building.

## The appliance calls you send us

- **Fridges and freezers.** Not cooling, icing up, leaking or loud, diagnosed and repaired on site.
- **Stoves, ovens and range hoods.** Elements, igniters, controls and fans, with gas ranges connected by TSSA registered contractors.
- **Washers, dryers and dishwashers.** Leaks, drains, drums, belts and venting, repaired or swapped.
- **Replacements and installs.** Delivered, levelled and connected, with the old unit hauled away.

## Plan the first visit from the model plate

1. **Plate photo first.** The resident sends the model and serial plate through intake before anyone drives.
2. **Diagnosis on site.** The trade confirms the fault and the cost to repair against the cost to replace.
3. **Your call, instantly.** Above your approval limit, the quote reaches you the moment the visit ends.
4. **Delivery booked.** In a condo, the elevator, dock and window are confirmed with management before the tenant hears a date.

> A broken appliance is a tenant complaint on a timer. We start the clock the moment the resident reports it, not when you forward it.

## What the report shows on an appliance job

- **The model and serial plate.** On file for the owner, the next repair and any manufacturer claim.
- **The fault, then the fix.** The failed part and the unit running afterwards, in a timed pair.
- **The install.** Level, connected, tested, with the water line or gas connection shown.
- **The haul away.** The old unit leaving, so nobody asks where it went.

## Questions

### Do you repair or replace?

Repair when the part exists and the unit is worth it, replace when it is not. Either way you get the choice as an instant quote from site, with the model, the age and the fault on it.

### Why do you ask for the model plate first?

It lets the trade identify the appliance and likely parts before attending, so the first visit is planned around the actual unit rather than a description. The resident sends a photo of the plate through our intake before anyone is booked.

### Do you supply the new appliance?

Yes, or we install one you bought. An appliance you supply carries only the manufacturer's warranty, and our install carries ours.

### Is a broken fridge an emergency?

A major appliance failure, such as a fridge that has stopped cooling, is an emergency. It is answered 24/7, with a trade on site within 2 hours in the GTA, 4 hours elsewhere in our service area, as a target.

### What about a delivery in a condo tower?

We book the freight elevator, the loading dock and any insurance certificate the building asks for before the date goes to the tenant. See [condo delivery and install](https://roundhousegroup.ca/services/appliances/condo-delivery-and-install/).

We only use ECRA/ESA-Licensed Electrical Contractors.
